Marshall Amplification - the emodiment of rock. The name evokes images of hard living, guitar wielding rockers - massive stacks and the glory days of rock music. 

Jim Marshall knocked out his first amp back in '62 (the Number One), but it was in '65 that Jim produced his first stack (the massive 8 x 12" for Pete Townhend of The Who). It was these stacks and amps combined that saw Jimi Hendrix adopting Marshall as his preferred amp of choice in 1969, and the rest, as they say, is history. Loud, rocking history.
