Product Description
Lewitt DTP 340 REX
Kick Drum and Low Freq. Instrument Microphone
The DTP 340 Rex and it's big brother, the DTP 640 REX, are Lewitt's range of kick drum and low frequency instrument microphones. While the DTP 340 REX is considered the entry-level offering from Lewitt, it is nonetheless ambitious in it's design and attributes. With a cardioid pickup pattern and tailored frequency response, this dynamic mic provides everything essential to capturing the characteristics of low frequency instruments either on stage or in the studio.
Designed in 2012 and developed for maximum diversity of applications, the DTP 340 REX has a natural and pure sound but also has a trick up it's sleeve - the 'Enhanced Frequency Response' when activated by the switch on the mic's right side will unleash a remarkable sound by accentuating the frequencies between 70-150 Hz and 3-5 kHz, optimising the palette for micing a kick drum.
Features:
- Switchable “Enhanced Frequency Response” specifically tailored for a powerful kick drum sound
- Perfectly suited for recording bass instruments and percussion
- Uniform cardioid pickup pattern for maximum isolation of the main sound source
- Outstanding gain before feedback
- Rock-solid full metal die-cast body suited for rough daily touring routine
- Integrated stand adapter for secure mounting and easy positioning
- Corrosion-resistant gold-plated 3-pin XLR output connector
- Comes in a cardboard box with foam layers and DTP 40 Lb artificial leather bag
