Ortofon's DJS can be thought of as the "jack of all trades" cartridge and needle - providing good support for scratch and club DJ's alike, with a modest output. It displays good tracking ability, staying in the record groove where it should be and is built to be robust and long lasting. The DJ S takes care of your vinyl, preserving the quality of the record surface and is a very popular cartridge throughout the DJ world. The DJ S is rather unique in that it can accomodate two different styli, the DJS S (Spherical - favours back-cueing and scratching) and DJS E (Elliptical - favours a better sound quality) - this is the DJ S Spherical stylus.
